About the Logo

‘Dung-Dkar’ literally means ‘ The White Conch’ in Tibetan and is one of their eight religious symbols. Of many things that it has come to represent over the years, ‘Dung-Dkar’ for us means a mighty invocation that heralds the awakening from the slumber of ignorance and indifference. The conch, being a symbol for great power and the white signifying peace, we using the medium of art to proclaim the essence of Tibetan way of life, ‘The compassion’ for all sentinel beings.
Can art become a medium to heal the past and be hope for the future? Yes, we believe in that and strive on to put ‘Compassion’ into Action through Art.
